Pico-PV Products and Solar Home System Kits

The laboratories listed below are approved to conduct tests for VeraSol according to the test methods in IEC/TS 62257-9-5. The types of testing each lab can conduct vary based on training, capacity, and accreditation status. We are currently working with our lab network to expand testing capacity to certify pico-solar products and SHS kits to IEC/TS 62257-9-8.

UoN currently is currently qualified to test to the Market Check Test Method (MCM) and the Initial Screening Method (ISM) according to IEC TS 62257-9-5 and IEC TS 62257-9-8. The lab is in the process of expanding the scope of its ISO 17025 accreditation to the latest editions of the test methods so that they can soon conduct QTM certification testing. Off-Grid-Appropriate Appliances and Productive Uses

The following labs are approved to test off-grid solar appliances and productive use equipment according to the Global LEAP test methods. These test methods define the process and parameters to evaluate energy performance, quality & durability, and safety. These labs are accredited to ISO 17025 for relevant IEC test methods.
