These benchmarking plots and analyses use anonymized and aggregated from all IEC TS 62257‑9‑5 testing through the VeraSol program in the last year. All companies can reference the data online and compare the results from their products’ test reports to the benchmark plots. Metrics include lumen maintenance, lumen efficacy, Correlated Color Temperature (CCT), Color Rendering Index (CRI), battery efficiency, battery capacity loss, port efficiency, solar operation efficiency, and charging efficiency. Benchmarking can help organizations better understand their products’ relative performance and identify areas for improvements—either incremental (continuous) improvements or dramatic (process re-engineering) improvements.
