In March, the quality assurance (QA) team hosted two webinars on the recent transition to VeraSol and the International Electrotechnical Committee’s adoption of quality standards for standalone solar energy kits.

The webinar recording and slides are now available online. During the webinar, stakeholders asked questions about VeraSol’s expanded services for off-grid appropriate appliances and productive use equipment and the transition from the Lighting Global Quality Standards to IEC TS 62257-9-8. The QA team has also prepared a document with our responses to all questions and comments posed during both webinars and our session at the 2020 Global Off-Grid Solar Forum & Expo in Nairobi, Kenya.
